Who we are
Rhino Insurance is an independent insurance agency in Tukwila, Washington, licensed by the Washington Office of the Insurance Commissioner (agency license #1364653). This policy explains how we handle information you give us through this website, by phone, by text or by email.
What we collect
We only ask for what we need to quote and service your insurance:
- Contact details, such as your name, phone number, email and ZIP code.
- Quote and policy details, such as the coverage you need, vehicles and drivers, driver's license numbers, home or business details, and policy numbers.
- Anything else you choose to tell us in a form, call, text or email.
When you ask for a quote, the insurance companies we work with may get reports such as driving records and claims history, and, where Washington law allows, credit-based insurance information. They use these to price your policy.
Like most websites, our site host and the service that loads our fonts may receive basic technical information, such as your IP address and browser type. We don't use advertising cookies. While you fill out a quote, your browser keeps your ZIP code and answers on your device so you don't have to type them twice.
How we use it
- To shop carriers and prepare your quotes.
- To start, service, change and renew your policies.
- To answer your questions and requests.
- To contact you by call, text or email about your quote or policy.
- To meet our legal and regulatory duties and to prevent fraud.
Who we share it with
We share your information only as needed to serve you:
- Insurance companies and brokers we quote or place your coverage with.
- Service providers that help us run the agency, such as our agency management system, email and the service that delivers website forms to our inbox. They must keep it confidential.
- People you ask us to send proof of insurance to, such as a lender or a certificate holder.
- Government agencies or others when the law requires it.
We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we don't share it with anyone for their own marketing.
Calls and texts
If you agree, we will contact you by call, text or email about your quote or policy. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text to stop texts, or HELP for help. We don't share your mobile number or your consent with anyone for marketing.
How we protect it
Only our team members who need your information can see it, and this website uses an encrypted connection. Please don't send full card or bank numbers through our forms or by text. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to keep your information safe.
How long we keep it
We keep your information while we are quoting or servicing your insurance, and afterward for as long as Washington insurance record-keeping rules require.
Your choices
You can ask us what information we have about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it when we no longer have to keep it. You can also tell us to stop calling, texting or emailing you at any time. The insurance company you buy a policy from will send you its own privacy notice.
Children
This website is not meant for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.
Other websites
Our site links to other websites, such as insurance company payment pages and our client portal. Their own privacy policies apply there.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will post the new version here with a new effective date.
